Lorelle​ teachs in all mediums and all subjects. (oils, acrylics, pastels, watercolor, drawing with graphite, colored pencils and scratchboard) All levels are welcome from beginners through advanced.

​Join the camaraderie in this ongoing class, while growing in your abilities! Come for as short or as long a time as you want. Don’t know where or how to start? Struggling with a certain painting? Want to learn to do portraits or any other subject that is new to you? Just need a jump start? Then this is the class for you! All subjects and mediums....All levels of ability welcome. Teens and Adults.

​Style: Anne’s body of work reflects an extensive background of painting including Oil renderings of classic subjects in the impressionist style. She also paints contemporary abstraction; a distillation of familiar subjects painted with energy and emotion. Her lifelong love and fascination with color and light is evident. She believes that classic subjects and the abstract expression of them can co-exist.

​​​​​​​​​​Her work can be found in both corporate and private collections in many states. She has participated in many juried shows and won several awards.

Professional artist Anne McNally, has recently moved to Asheville from Norfolk, Virginia and has joined the SVFAL with a great deal of enthusiasm for the wonderful art and the warm, friendly atmosphere she has enjoyed here.

​New Painting Classes with Anne McNally

Anne will start a new session of  classes on MAY 1ST 2013 and will continue each Wednesday for 6 weeks.. Class size will be limited. Emphasis will be on oil, although acrylics are acceptable. Classes will be 2 hours each; morning class begins at 10 am – 12 AND afternoon class begins at 1pm ends at 3pm. Feel free to come early to set up. The cost of the 6 week course will be $ 125.00/ non- SVFAL members and 115.00 SVFAL MEMBERS $50.00 deposit to insure space.
Frugal Artist Meetup  on 3rd Tuesday evening of the month 6-8 PM. This is a DVD viewing situation, no need to bring any supplies. Bring your own food and drink.
