Bruce Nelson is a retired engineer who is drawn to the technical aspects of photography. He likes to research and test chemical-based printing methods. After spending life in the realm of ideas and figures he says that “mud wrestling with organic chemistry feels great – even if it is time consuming, complicated, and sometimes frustrating”. Bruce enjoys the element of personal expression in photography and he relishes focusing on an endeavor that is exempt from the demands of the commercial world.
KATHY NELSON, Bruce’s wife, is also an artist. Bruce and Kathy collaborate on images they call versographs. In these works, Kathy's poetry is superimposed on Bruce’s photography.
Bruce Nelson’s work can be seen at THE RED HOUSE exhibitions. You can contact him at: firstname.lastname@example.org
