Peggy King always knew in her heart that she wanted to paint. It took a move to Black Mountain, and settling in to a home with a nurturing space for creativity, to make her heart dream a reality. Peggy now draws much of her inspiration from the natural world around her home. She loves to sit quietly in her mountain garden and let the wild things come to her, giving her the chance to study their behaviors and their beauty. Most recently, Peggy has been captivated by four Pileated Woodpeckers that have taken up residence in her yard, making a great new subject for her paintings.
