FOR ME THIS IS DIFFERENT - Exhibit Description
As artists, we all tend to develop a signature style over time. We also navigate toward a favorite medium. These comfortable styles and mediums become the default for us. It’s natural. But sometimes taking risks can yield some pretty amazing results. This show invites you to step outside your comfort zone and dare to learn and grow from that experience. Challenge yourself to produce a work that is different from your usual show entries, in any way you choose. Work with a different medium, choose a different style, experiment with different colors, create in 3-D or 2-D. Simply think outside your familiar box, and get those creative juices flowing in a fresh direction. Let’s dare each other to do something fresh and different - for us!
Curator: Mary Cunningham
